How to Use Internal Comments and Mentions on Conversations

Modified on Sun, Jan 19 at 12:01 PM

Media Shield now offers an Internal Comments feature to make team collaboration easier and more private. This feature lets you add comments within conversations that are visible only to team members. Here's how you can use it:

  1. Add Internal Comments: While chatting with a contact, you can add private comments that only your team can see. This keeps your conversations with contacts smooth and private.

  2. Mention Users: To involve someone else, type @ followed by their name in your comment. This tags them and lets them access the conversation, even if they didn’t have previous access.

  3. Filters: Use the “Mentions” filter to find conversations where you’ve been tagged. You can also use the “Internal Comments” filter to view only the private comments in a thread.

  4. Notifications: Stay updated! You’ll receive notifications when you’re mentioned or when there’s a new message in a conversation you’re part of.

How It Helps:

  1. Improves Teamwork: Team members can discuss things privately without disrupting the conversation with the contact.

  2. Keeps You Updated: Mentions and notifications ensure everyone stays in the loop with important updates.
