How to Use Multiple Contacts per Opportunity


Introduction:

You can now add multiple contacts to a single opportunity, making it easier to manage relationships with various stakeholders.


Key Features:

  1. Add Additional Contacts: Link multiple contacts to a single opportunity, useful for managing multiple stakeholders.

  2. Primary Contact Referencing: The system will still use the primary contact for workflows and references, ensuring consistency.


How to Use:

  1. Open Opportunity: Find and click on the opportunity you want to edit.


  2. Add Contacts: In the "Additional Contacts" field, add the contacts you want to link to this opportunity.


Restrictions:

  • A primary contact cannot be added as an additional contact for the same opportunity.

  • If "Allow duplicate opportunities" is not enabled, a contact can't be added to multiple opportunities as a primary or additional contact.


Note: The system will still use the primary contact’s details for lists and workflows.
