How to Scan a Business Card Using the Media Shield Mobile App

Scan a Business Card:

You can easily scan a business card from three different entry points to create a new contact.

Edit Card Details:

After scanning the business card, you can edit the details using the chips available at the bottom. Simply drag the relevant text to the appropriate field to correct any errors.

How It Works:

1. Open the Mobile App: Open your Media Shield mobile app.

2. Choose an Entry Point to Start Scanning:

• Go to the Contacts page, tap on the "+" icon, and then tap on "Scan Business Card."
  
  
  
• Tap on the scan icon at the top right of the contact creation screen.
  
  
• Tap on the bolt quick actions button and select "Scan Business Card."
  
  

1. Position the Business Card: Once the scanner is open, place the business card within the rectangular box. The device will automatically extract the details from the card.

2. Edit Details: After the scan is completed, you can edit the details using the chips at the bottom or by typing manually with the keyboard.

3. Save the Contact: Once all the details are correct, hit save to create the contact.
